Peter Kampian Appointed CFO

Toronto, Ontario– September 21, 2009 – Oneworld Energy Inc., an emerging leader in the design, installation, management, operations and servicing of both wind and solar power installations, today announced the appointment of Peter Kampian as Executive Vice President Finance and CFO of Oneworld Energy, effective October 1, 2009.

Peter is a veteran of the renewable energy sector and has held various senior level management positions in private and public companies. He has over 25 years of experience in investment management, electrical generation, energy marketing, manufacturing, and public accounting. He was Chief Financial Officer of Algonquin Power Income Fund, a renewable energy income fund operating in Canada and in the United States. Peter was also Vice President of Finance of a gas and electricity marketer. Peter is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and articled with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfred Laurier University. During his career, Peter obtained a wide range of experience in both public and private companies including acquisition, financing, treasury, accounting, taxation, human resources and information technology.
