Roger M. Slotkin Appointed CEO of U.S. Operations

Long Island’s “Green?Tech Corridor” Chosen for U.S. Headquarters

Toronto, Ontario and Melville, New York – June 3, 2009 – Oneworld Energy Inc., an emerging leader in the design, installation, management and servicing of both wind and solar power installations, today announced plans to expand its U.S. presence, including the appointment of Roger M. Slotkin as CEO of U.S. operations and opening of the company’s new U.S. headquarters located at 68 South Service Road, Suite 100, in Melville, New York.

In addition to the appointment of Mr. Slotkin, the company has near?term plans to add additional senior personnel in the Melville office. Mr. Slotkin’s role will be to help grow Oneworld’s business opportunities in the U.S. through strategic acquisitions and organic growth as well as increase its presence in the U.S. The company will maintain its corporate headquarters in Toronto, Canada and will continue to operate out of its Overland Park, Kansas office, where Oneworld Energy’s wind services division (Composotech Structures, Inc.) provides maintenance and repair services for wind turbine blades for wind farms and OEMs. Oneworld is also in the process of developing a 200 MW wind farm in Oklahoma.

Mr. Chuck Allen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oneworld Energy, commented, “We are pleased to welcome Roger Slotkin to our senior team as CEO of U.S. operations. Mr. Slotkin noted, “I am excited to play a role in the growth of Oneworld Energy. Our near?term plans include seeking strategic partners and assets, as well as identifying and pursuing acquisitions that complement our existing services and expand our geographic presence.”

About Roger M. Slotkin
Mr. Slotkin, 57, brings over 38 years of senior corporate, acquisition, business formation and turnaround experience. Prior to joining Oneworld Energy, Mr. Slotkin served as Chief Executive Officer of RS Management, LTD and the Alternate Group, Ltd. where he provided sales and marketing advisory services to various clients. While at RS Management, he also co-founded the CLEVER Institute (Clean Vehicle Research), a not-for-profit organization focused on the deployment and conversion of plug-in electric cars in the U.S. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Slotkin served as CEO of Odyne Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of advanced plug-in hybrid powertrains for class 6, 7 and 8 buses and trucks. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Slotkin co-founded and served as managing director of The Beachhead Group, which specializes in corporate turnarounds, investment banking, start-up and interim management, pre-bankruptcy/bankruptcy avoidance, liquidations, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Slotkin has held a number of other senior executive roles and board positions as well. Mr. Slotkin has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Long Island University.
