Oneworld Energy Wind Park Development
Oneworld’s wind park assets are located in North America and the European Union – specifically in Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Alberta Germany, France and Hungary. Oneworld has been developing wind parks in North America for over 5 years and in Europe, through its German subsidiary, MHB Wind Energie for over 10 years.
- Oneworld has a number of wind projects that are ready for construction including four 10MW projects in Ontario under the Ontario Government’s Standard Offer Contract program and a 12 MW project in Nova Scotia under the RFP program.
- Oneworld has a number of early stage wind projects which could result in the construction of an additional 552MW of power plants over the next 5 -6 years.
Wind Turbine Blade Services
Oneworld’s services business provides turbine blade service, maintenance and repair services to the wind sector in North America through Composotech Structures Inc.
- Composotech offers services to 2 distinct groups: OEM turbine manufacturers and wind farm owners.
- Management believes there is room for additional expansion within the wind services business in North America as a result of the rapid expansion of wind generated energy projects and is actively considering the acquisition of other service groups.
- Composotech is also the North American agent for Deutsche WindGuard Dynamics GmbH.
- Composotech also has a robust business in supplying composite shells for use in Airplane cockpit simulators.
- Composotech provides tooling services to wind blade companies in North America.
