Founded in 2003, Oneworld Energy Inc. is a Canadian-based international renewable energy company offering procurement, advisory, design and development, construction and operations and maintenance services in the wind and solar energy sectors and an independent developer of renewable energy projects in Canada, the US and the EU. Oneworld’s head office is located in Toronto, Ontario. Other offices include Copenhagen, Denmark; Munich, Bamberg and Erfurt, Germany; Goderich, Ontario; Denver, Colorado, Hong Kong and Shanghai, China and Long Island, New York. Oneworld is actively involved in all aspects of the wind and solar energy value chain including design, development, construction, repair, service and maintenance of both wind and solar projects. Oneworld’s target is to developing and constructing wind and solar projects for its own accounts and become a power generator.
Oneworld and its subsidiaries have successfully developed wind power projects in Ontario and Germany since 2003 and 1999 respectively) and solar power projects in Germany since 2007. To date, Oneworld personnel (through Oneworld subsidiaries or through previous employers) have designed, developed and constructed over 50 MW of wind energy projects in Europe and North America and more than 100 solar power parks in Europe for third party customers with power output in excess 35 MW.
Oneworld’s business strategy is two-fold: first, to continue the growth and expansion of Oneworld’s service-based renewable energy businesses (designing and constructing solar and wind energy projects for third parties as well as providing maintenance and repair services) and secondly, to design, construct, own and operate solar and wind power generation projects.
